Chords, Guitar Tablature & Lyrics
____________________________________________________________________________________

I think that there are two electric rhythm guitars in this song - one on rhythm and the other on the hauntingly beautiful bottle-neck slide. I'm going to show you the rhythm part which can be played on an electric or acoustic guitar. Be sure to visit my tab page in order to understand how I write tablature on the web.

By the way, I interpreted these chords from listening to the LP - I did not use any other written music as an aid in writing the tab presented on this page. If you think that I have made a mistake, please let me know about it by dropping me a quick note.

Click here if you want only the lyrics.

"THE RIFF":

During the Ebm7 and the Abm7 chords, the bass and the rhythm guitar are playing these notes:

                 Ebm7  Abm7
1-||-----------------------------
2-||-----------------------------
3-||-----------------------------
4-||-----------------------------
5-||----------4---6--------------
6-||--------6----------4---------

Play the 1st and 2nd notes a little more quickly than the other notes!

____________________________________________________________________________________

TIP:

Not much to say - the keyboards are doing most of the chords in the song (at least that's what I hear in the recording). When you see the following phrase during the slide solos in the middle and the end of the song, play the Bbm7 rather quickly:

Ebm7..........Bbm7...Abm7..........Bbm7...
