Chords, Guitar Tablature & Lyrics
____________________________________________________________________________________

I think that there are two acoustic guitars in this one - it's hard to tell with all the vibrato in the electric piano part. I'm going to show you the chords, some alternate chords, and offer a few tips - you can take it from there. Be sure to visit my tab page in order to understand how I write tablature on the web.

By the way, I interpreted these chords from listening to the LP - I did not use any other written music as an aid in writing the tab presented on this page. If you think that I have made a mistake, please let me know about it by dropping me a quick note.

Click here if you want only the lyrics.

TIPS:

ALL of the chord symbols are for four beats. EXCEPT when you see the Fmaj7 and Em7 at the end of a verse- they total just 4 beats together.

Intro

The 'cf' that you see in the intro and other places in the song are single notes that are played by the piano - I have included them for your benefit. The two notes are: 5/3 and 4/3 (5th string 3rd fret and 4th string, 3rd fret). They should be played in the intro, but aren't that necessary elsewhere in the song.

Most of the song

I have added alternate chords - some are easier to play than my first suggestions - others are harder. Use any combinations of the chords if that will make playing this one a little easier.

Don't let the chord names scare you - just practice/play it!
